Project overview
JPS provided structural engineering design services for the new Asiatic Lion enclosure at Chester Zoo, creating a purpose-built habitat and visitor attraction for one of the world’s most endangered big cat species.
The project included the design of the lion house, external enclosure structures, staff facilities and visitor viewing canopies, delivering a safe, functional and engaging environment for both animals and visitors while supporting the zoo’s conservation and education objectives.
